Staying healthy is one way to stay young as well. There are different ways on how to live life in healthy  ways and look younger. We all know that each and every person around always dream to stay young at the age that they have. This thing is not possible, well among the best method is eating a healthy diet. Aside from the foods that we need to include in our diet is adequate sleep, regular exercise and positive  disposition. Eating foods that are rich in antioxidants is one of the best choices that you need to add to your diet.

What are antioxidant?

Antioxidants are nutrients that slow down oxidative body damage. As a person age there are tendency that the body changes and develop some damages specially in the skin. Once the body cell uses oxygen it naturally creates free radicals that cause cell damages. That is why as the person aged, they mostly experience heart diseases, diabetes or cancer because of free radicals. Wrinkles and skin pigmentation is also a cause of free radicals. This mostly happens to people who know don’t acquire antioxidants in their diets.

Foods rich in antioxidants

According to study eating fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants can help lower the risk of high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease and cancer. Aside from this it can make the skin smooth and radiant. There are different fruits and vegetables that you need to consider in order such as berries, beans, potatoes, artichoke, carrots, apples, broccoli, tomatoes, kale, cantaloupe, peaches, apricot and hazelnuts. You can also consider pecans, cinnamon, oregano and garlic cloves. These are good source of antioxidant. Many health experts say that eating fruits and vegetables that is rich in antioxidant can make you young and healthy. You need to have at least 5-9 servings of foods rich in antioxidants. Those foods that are mentioned are also rich in vitamin E, A and C, these are vitamins that prevent sickness and can maintain healthy skin.
